the idea behind nirvana is to create a tangible means of learning something new without the use of a screen or artificial intelligent; to unravel the contents of an envelope that are strikingly human - made by flesh, bone, and memory.
as the name suggests, nirvana mail attempts to create a small, pebbled path towards enlightenment. to this end, the themes explored through each distinct issue are also inherently niche in their being.
unsurprisingly, our logo also contains a fig, as well as lotus vines, both of which are commonly associated with spirituality, knowledge, and stepping away from materialism (well, in this case, screens).

farva is a creative based in dubai, uae. she is also the sole creator of nirvana mail - all prints, stickers, magnets, essays, short stories, zines, photographs are designed, developed, and stitched by her hands.
with a small (but growing) library in her home, she spends much of her time learning about the world and its magic through the books she reads. her devotion to learning is also reflected through a myriad of interests: painting, writing, photography, embroidery, films, and much more.
finally, to give you more insight into the themes explored by nirvana mail, it is good to note that she holds a degree in philosophy. this venture is, in and of itself, a philosophical inquiry into all that makes us human.
